We understand that losing a loved one is an immensely difficult experience, and it is our heartfelt commitment to providing unwavering support and compassion. Our deep-rooted connection with our community allows us to go above and beyond, ensuring that every detail of the funeral service reflects the individuality and unique story of the departed.
As a former military serviceman, devoted husband, and loving father residing in the charming county of Northumberland. I, like many of you have experienced the profound loss of someone close and all we have left are the cherished memories and stories told by others that help us cope and eventually come to terms. In 2011, the sudden passing of my father and, more recently, the loss of my mother in December 2019 left a void in my heart. Despite my children not having the chance to know their grandfather, they hold dear the stories and images passed down from his time in the Army and Merchant Navy.
My youngest daughter finds solace in rainbows, believing they are a sign of her grandmother watching over us, while my son treasures a photograph that keeps his grandmother’s memory close. However, as time passes, memories fade, this is where I was inspired to create QR Living Memories—a digital archive dedicated to preserving a person's life story through contributions from loved ones. I am driven by the desire to ensure that the legacies and memories of our loved ones endure through generations and are never forgotten.
This unique platform allows us to compile images, videos, and audio recordings, immortalising the stories of those who have touched our lives. By documenting their narratives as shared by anyone who knew them, we can now honour their lives and celebrate their lasting impact.
